Diamonds

True friends to me are like diamonds, every girl's best friend, and they always shine through when you most need them.

My girlfriend, Brenda, was in town for an appointment today.  We met up for tea at Tim Hortons, and had a great visit.  Thanks Brenda I needed that wee "time out" xoxoxo.

True friends do not judge, they are accepting no matter what.  True friends as such are very hard to find, so I cherish each and every one I have, and so very thankful each are in my Life.

I was not having a great day as I worn to a frazzle.  I think I slept a bit this afternoon.

Another friend had heard I have been under the weather, and dropped around to return an item I had lent her.  She brought along a beautiful lavender plant, and a sweet thank you note.  Thanks BJ xx

As well as doing the 52 Week Money Challenge, Rob and I also save loose silver in our Piggy Bank, and toonies & loonies in our Nest Egg jar.  We save for a year then count it out to put towards something we want.... this year it will be put towards our Holiday.

Drum roll please ..... this year we saved $303.00 !!!  not too shabby I am thinking.

Today Rob found time to take out the "extra" swivel chair from the RV to make a spot for a dog kennel, since Buddy will be vacationing with us.  We have hired a friend to stay at the house for us, and Bandit will be going with my brother.  Lots to do before we even think about going anywhere.

Nothing To Say

I am exhausted and not going to say much more then that today.

Our 2 week old puppy from Portia is 5 lbs !!! and our one week smallest pup is 14 oz..  Go see their photo HERE.

Almost Done

With help from Rob today, who organized the wires  behind my PC, located in the spare bedroom, I am almost done in there (don't look anywhere else though in our house, as YIKES !).

What is left is to organize the grandboy's toys, and declutter the closet in this room.  Then it is onto another room.   Clean and organized is what makes me feel good, not finding the time or energy to do so does not.

I am hoping for great weather tomorrow, as I would like to set up tables outside and put out what I have ready for a Yard Sale.  Fingers crossed the weather forecast is right.

Sleep? still not so good, but no napping so that might make for a better night ahead, or not.

I am still doing the 52 Week Money Challenge.  Hope everyone who came on board with the challenge with me are also doing well?

One day at a time going forward, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

Mostly Done

I had a sleepless night, once again, last night.  I think I will try the sleeping meds again this evening.

I got one of our two "spare" bedrooms changed around today, with lots of help with Rob bringing in the bed we had gotten from my Cousin Brad, and his wife, Paula.  We downsized in that room from a Queen to a double.

The "new to us" bed came from my Uncle Jack's place, and it is an antique, more then likely built in one of the furniture factories he worked for on the road selling.  Once the room is all finished I will post photos.

The cobwebs were cleared from the overhead fan light, window cleaned to a "sparkle", and the computer desk pulled out waiting to be cleaned behind of lots of dust and to have the cords organized (hopefully by Rob).  Still I am mostly done in that room but for the computer desk and the closet.

The rest of the house? it looks like it has gone to Hell in a Handbag .... geesh it is always a mess to clean a mess in this house it seems.  Will I ever get a handle on it again? time will tell so for the moment it is what it is.

I hear tomorrow it is to rain all day long, then be nice all next week.  I am tired of rain, bring on the sunshine !!!!

I did get 3 loads of wash done today, and the curtains from the spare room, dining room and patio window toppers included.

Other then being surrounded by a mess, I have been productive and not sitting on my butt all day, not that I usually do, however I did not have a nap even though I am certain I could use one.

The day is going towards a finish, and this is all she wrote, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

Thursday 27 August 2015

One Load ....

One load ....

.... didn't cut it, we had to bring in a 2nd load of gravel to replenish our drive yesterday.  Oh yes bottom photo is of my Wedding Clematis taken over the shed.

Today was a haircut for me, and a trip to the Doctor.  Dinner was Homemade potato salad, which Rob made, and Sweet Corn.

I was awake all last night and done like dinner at the moment, heading off to bed shortly, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

Wednesday 26 August 2015

Yummy Yum Yum

Last night Rob and I headed South on a bit of a road trip which took us down through Walkerton.... well let me say, "yummy, yum, yum", was that trip.

Rob was wanting some KFC, but no way was I having any of that !!!  so it was Pizza for me as I had heard so much about the Old Garage Wood Fired Pizza .... check it out by *clicking* HERE.

I ordered the "personal" New "Greek" pizza which was 6 pieces and totally amazing to the taste buds.  I was very impressed with this place, and would most certainly go again.  Wood fired pizza is the BEST !!!!

I was so tired when I got up this morning I had gone back to be about 10 am and slept right through till after lunchtime.  Not even a phone call woke me up .... I was exhausted and sure had needed that sleep.  It had felt good.

This evening we had gone to a fundraiser dinner for the Peninsula Community Food Bank with friends, Vivienne and Eric, who we have known for some years now as we deal with their local business Pinkerton's Carquest.

Larry & Darlene Miller sat with us for dinner, along with the Mayor of Georgian Bluffs.

The dinner was potato salad, coleslaw, dinner roll, beets corn on the cob and bbq'd chicken breast with pie and coffee afterwards.  It was delish.

We had bid on some items in the Silent Auction, doing very well to get 2 fishing rods, a very large garbage pail and a great deal on a GC.  Yeah ! fishing rods make me happy.

I did have a better day.  Yesterday I was distraught as we lost the runt of our litter.  Regardless of knowing these things happen with no fault of ours, however it never makes it easier just the same.  Death always makes me beyond sad, that is just how I am no matter what.

Many thanks for all the well wishes for a better day ahead, as yes it had been a better day.

I am full, I am tired, and I am heading off to bed, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

Not Really

It was not really a good day today, and I am quite happy to have it behind me.  There was one highlight of the day I hope to remember to share tomorrow ....

.... in the meantime, praying for a better tomorrow, for myself and everyone I love and care for.

To Blog Or Not To Blog?

Yes the question I have been asking myself lately, as I have been not well and "stale" for some time now, is to blog or not to blog? (I am feeling a bit like Shakesphere's Hamlet, to be or not to be?).

By the end of the day I am so exhausted, this being the way I also usually begin my days, that I barely have the energy to get myself to bed for an usual sleepless or sleep deprived night.

I have been re-evaluating, or trying to, on what is important and what is not.

Is to blog still important to me? will I eventually get through this slump? do I just continue on as I have begin until I gain control, or lack of it, until I am able to fully blog my days as I used to?  All these questions plus many more in other areas?

Blogging has been rewarding in the past, especially when I look back to see where I have been in my life the past 5 years, good and or bad.  There has been lots of emotions over the years whether joy or heated opinions I have had.

I will have to sleep on this some more ... hahaha that was a funny, or not (INSERT SMILE).

On a lighter note, Lexus had five babies last night.  One Black Tri Female, One Red Tri Female, One Blue Merle Male, One Red Merle Male, and One Red Merle Female.  The Blue Merle Male & Black Tri Female have been spoken for.  Just think in 8 more weeks they will be going to their FOREVER HOMES.

Photos to follow tomorrow? after I sleep on it more, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

A Day Visit

Whoopee ! I actually slept last night the best ever in a very long time.  I was still major fatigued, however I will take what I can get if I am fortunate to get it.

Today our Buddy of our Extraordinary 8 2014 litter & his Forever Family came to visit.  Photos of that fun and amazing visit may be found by *clicking* HERE.  Buddy is one smart pup with very special owners who have taken much of their time to put that smartness to use.  Love them ALL !  I am grateful to get such wonderful families for my pups (with only 2 exceptions).

The visit pretty much was my whole day, or the exciting part of my day maybe might be a better way to put it.

Rob had gone to Toronto today, and just arrived back home at 7 pm.  I miss him when he is gone.

Lots to do, but I must admit I see the tiniest bit of light behind all the darkness.  This is good, as any light is good.

Lexus is showing signs of whelping, so I expect a litter any time in the near future.

Here is to me getting another half descent sleep ahead of me tonight, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

What A Day !

Where to begin????  I barely have an idea as what a day this was.  I guess at the beginning, with photos to follow maybe tomorrow....

I decided to return some clothing I had gotten for my Mother to the stores I had purchased from in Owen Sound.  I headed out about 11 am.

As I was minding my own business going through the Walmart parking lot towards Penningtons I was suddenly shaken up when I was hit by a vehicle coming at an angle across the parking lot.  The front end of my van smacked !!!

After waiting for the police, who said all private parking lot accidents were usually deemed 50 - 50 at fault by the insurance companies, then waited for him to fill out a report that the accident had happened, I was shaking I had been so upset.

Fortunately I was able to drive my vehicle home and not pay for a tow.  Big deal on that bonus!

When I returned the items to Reitmans, I ended up with a pair of jeans for me, and 2 pair of Capri for Mom totalling $28.00 .... now that was a bonus of 50% off their red tag sale prices.

I didn't get home until after 3 pm.  At 4 pm a family came to see about Portia's pup.  The family was a PERFECT match for him, and he will be going home with them in 7 weeks.  Happy when I find such great homes for our Aussie pups....very happy.

I really didn't feel like going for a walk tonight, but thanks to my girlfriend, Lynn, I went.  I managed to get my 10,000 steps in today, and feel I am getting a bit back on track regardless of not feeling like I want to.  Perseverance with a little help from my friends.

I am tired, thinking I will go to bed shortly with the book I have begun reading, "Still Alice", Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

Friday 21 August 2015

Two Down Tons To Go !!!

The skies this morning were crazy beautiful before the torrents of rain arrived shortly after I had taken this photo.  I LOVE mornings.

I didn't love this morning too much since I was awake most of the evening, and rose with a vicious headache that I still have.  Apparently these headaches have been making their rounds.

Despite being tired I tackled our bedroom today; yesterday I had did the bedroom in the RV ....

RV and our Bedroom.  Two down & tons to go !!!

I couldn't even force myself to go for a walk this evening as my ankles are paining so much walking has been quite painful today.

The rheumatologist's office called today with an appointment for me with the Nerve Specialist in Owen Sound in October.  I am still waiting appt. for MRIs on some more of my body parts, and certain, other then my brain, I have almost my whole body done to date.  Geesh ... but most grateful I  have such empathetic thorough doctors on my side.

Annual Aussie Check-up

This morning was spent trying to de-clutter, of course after being up since 4 am to thunder and lightning, then downpours at 5:00 am.

After lunch I had to head down South to Mildmay to take Buddy and Bandit for their Annual Aussie Check-up.  Shea-Lynn went along to give me a hand, and the company is always nice.

All photos of this vet visit can be found by going HERE.

This evening I headed out on a 4700 step walk with my friend, Lynn, now I am thinking I will be calling it a night shortly, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

Wednesday 19 August 2015

First Swim

I was tired with no time to nap today .... had to get going this morning by 11 am as I had to be at Owen Sound Hospital at 12 pm for my annual mammogram, which I might add was not painful whatsoever (this time around).

After the hospital I stopped in at Penningtons & Reitmans, and managed to pick my mom up a couple pair of capris.  I sure hope they fit when I take them up for her to try on.

Today I did stop long enough to admire the Orchid Rob had gotten me some months ago, which recently just bloomed again.  They look so waxy and perfect, do they not?

On my way to Owen Sound I came across a yard sale where I purchased a Church Pew.  Do not ask me why, however I have always wanted a Church Pew and now I have one.

This particular Church Pew is from the Mar Church which is located North of the Checkerboard, about 5 minutes from where we live South of the Checkerboard.

By the time I got back from Owen Sound I had just got in the house when someone arrived at the door, then the phone rang ... needless to say I never got a much needed nap today.  By the time Rob got home it was getting onto 5 pm, and we wanted to go for a swim.

We have been living up here 13 years and it is the first time Rob has been in a lake and actually gotten wet.  Buddy? it was his first swim ever to our knowledge.

It took some encouragement, however once I had set the camera down and went in, Buddy followed me right out until he was swimming.  He really had a great work out and enjoyed it after all, as I am sure did Rob.

We got back home to make BBQ hamburgers for Rob and a Turkey burger for me ... yum.

Tomorrow I take the boys to the vet for their check-up and 3 year rabies shots.  On that note I think I shall head off to bed here shortly, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

Tuesday 18 August 2015

A Bit More

Finally I had myself a bit more sleep last night, and again this afternoon.  Thank goodness.

I still fell like a ton of bricks has hit me, however I continued to plod along today.  Nothing much done today, however I did attend a meeting this evening which ran rather late.

I am off to my bed real soon, as tomorrow I hope is a more productive day, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

Remember Your Dream(s)

Life has a way of pushing our dreams down. They can become buried under discouragement, buried under past mistakes. There are dreams buried under rejection, divorce, failure, negative voices. It’s easy to settle for mediocrity when we have all this potential buried on the inside. But just because you gave up, doesn’t mean God gave up. Your dream may be buried, but the good news is it’s still alive. It’s not too late to see it come to pass. We’ve all been through disappointments, bad breaks. Life happens. But instead of remembering the hurt, the failure and what didn’t work out, the key to reaching your destiny is you have to remember your dream.
–An excerpt from “Remember Your Dream”
Pastor Joel Osteen

I have many dreams yet to come to past.  I am a dreamer and always have been a dreamer.  I am going to try to forge forward with my sleep deprived brain to continue to dream and achieve.

I am not ever forgetting the Family & Friends who truly love me and are always there for me, even if they are not able to be at my side I am in their thoughts, and that at time is a comfort.

A couple of beautiful photos of my Son and Daughter-in-Law I just received yesterday .....

It will be more exciting once more photos of the Wedding arrive as the photographer finishes editing.

This girl is hopefully going to get herself some sleep tonight, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

Masterson Family Reunion 2015

I was heading up our Family Reunion this Year, or should I say my Family members were, however that ended up being me, my son and DIL, as well as my niece, Joanne, helped me out.  Helping hands are a wonderful thing, are they not?

I am pretty sad as I usually get some lovely candid shots at our Family Reunions, however being otherwise occupied with games and whatnot I did not get the opportunity this Year.  Next year, but in the meantime the Pinatas had been a huge hit with the children, and of course the prizes, and the FOOD !!!

Even though I had to change-up the date back a week, we still had a really great turn-out.

LOTS of prizes for the children, desserts and lots and lots of FOOD ! (really really good foods).

Cousin Wendy had her 45th Birthday today, and Auntie Gladys had made her a Birthday Cake, as she is her MIL, and that is what wonderful MIL's do, is it not?  Wendy had been delightfully surprised.

As mentioned before, the Pinatas had been a great hit (no pun intended).  We had 3 different ones with 3 different age groups.

I am pretty certain a great day had been had by all.  Rob and I had gotten back home about 3 pm.  At 5 pm he took Bandit & I up to Berford Lake for a swim to cool down ... oh so nice it had been.

Mama Portia, and baby are both doing fine.  For any quires, I never breed any of our females on a first heat, always being their second.  Sometimes only a single puppy is born, and great care has to be put into its first 7 to 8 week of learning without litter mates.  Fortunately with Lexus due soon the Oe & only puppy will be getting some "other" puppy experiences.

I only got 2 hours sleep last night so needless to say I am, once again, tired, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

Saturday 15 August 2015

One & Only

Mama Portia is doing well  & is an excellent mama to her One & Only puppy.

The One & Only is an amazing little Red Merle boy, don't you think?  he is laying in Rob's hand.

Today had been a busy day ..... other then cleaning and tidying I went swimming at Berford Lake with the grandchildren, I got to hang out with my Cousin, Paula, at The Painted Turtle where we participated in a Crafty Tour with their shop & The Cluttered Cupboard.  Fun, fun, fun ...

Rob made a Ham, Scalloped Potato, Yellow Bean and Corn dinner for all of us.  It was beyond YUMMY !!!!

I also have been preparing for the Masterson Family Reunion today as well.  Yes I have been very busy and we are all overtired, children included, and it is dang humid !!!

On that note, goodnight it is, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

What Lies Within Us

Aiden has been loving most of his visit with us, but has been quite tired since he has been so very busy.

Aiden has been helping Kiersan at KONES, downtown Wiarton, scoop ice cream, Sunday and Wednesday.  He goes back tomorrow.  Lucky boy to be learning business at almost 11 years old.

Rob picked up the mail today and there had been a surprise for me posted from my hometown of Southampton.  I have no idea who sent this to me however what I know it gave me an inkling of hope that I needed desperately, reminding me what lies within us ...

Is it not beautiful?  I absolutely LOVE both, and would LOVE to thank who took the time to have me in their thoughts and be so kind in their gesture towards me. xxx

What did I get done today? a load of laundry, the dishes done up and our bed part made.  I am so tired I barely know my name.

I exchanged a pair of Merrell sandals at Beckers Shoes downtown as they had caused me problems.  These Reikers are what I replaced them with ... love the bling and the feel of them.  Yes I did also get the banking done too.

Portia's due date is today, hope she has then soon.... stay tuned on their page HERE.

Did I mention how tired I was? this is all she wrote this day, feeling blessed Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

Can Barely

I can barely keep my eyes open.  It has been  long day with that much not done.

I dropped the boys off at the Salvation Army Vacation Bible School this morning, and also picked up a couple other children.  The Sally Ann has an account with us and needed our service.  After talking it over Rob and I decided it would be "no charge" for this week of Bible Vacation School as our contribution of having our grandson's enrolled in such a fantastic program they offer.

A big "thank you" from Tess (far left) who is the youth program coordinator.  It is always great to feel appreciated.

Today the WDCC was having a Membership Drive, downtown at the Parkette.

Paul Sutter of the Home Bldg. Centre & Rob were flipping burgers for the event.

The Gang was mostly all there.

I am beyond tired and can barly keep my eyes open.  I am calling it a day, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

Lost My Mojo

It seems I have lost my mojo for blogging the past few months .... as I also feel I have lost myself, and until I find that self again I will be blahhhhh.

Our beautiful Mercedes is so happy at her home with our children, and their 5 children.

Today didn't know whether which end of weather it was going to be .... torrents of rain or an abundance of sunshine.  The vanity, sinks & mirrors? to be in our new re-done bathroom hopefully sometime before this Christmas.

That is all she wrote this day, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

Giving In

I am going to be giving in by trying meds (again) to sleep, as I don't think I am going to last much longer if I don't and I have a family reunion coming up.  I have been up since 2 am, and awake at midnight.  Sigh.....

I got the boy's lunches ready, breakfast into them and was out the door to deliver them to Vacation Bible School Day Camp at the Salvation Army.

According to Connor, they had an amazing day (not bad for a kid who really didn't want to go in the first place).  We had been invited to dinner at a friend's, whose grandson also went to the Day Camp.  Turkey had been on the menu...what a spread with lots of veggies too & Creme Brulee for dessert.  Yum !

By the time I had dropped off the boys I had driven home with a full blown migraine, by mid-morning I was throwing up, by after lunch I was sleeping on the couch until 3 pm, then got up to get ready for dinner.  It took longer then usual today for the meds to kick in unfortunately.

Insult had been added to injury at one point today.

The good was I added a magnetic chalkboard to the fridge to highlight things I have to do in BOLD, as lack of sleep has been poor for my brain at times.  The insult today was when I opened the back of my van to put something in to have a table slide out and hit my shin.  Yes it had been a huge OUCHIE ... with no damage to the portable table.

Since the rainy day caused my migraine, it did good for my plants.  I even set the house plants out to get a good rain soaking to make them happy.

My DIL texted me a couple of photos she had framed today ....

Stunning and handsome comes to my mind with lots of love in-between.

These two, my Paul and Elizabeth, have had many challenges of life thrown at them the past couple of years, and have made it through everyone.  All my best wishes and love for them to keep conquering all for many years to come.  Five children is a challenge in itself that they handle the very best of all.

I am tired and soon going to be giving in, rather then later, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

Sleepless In Wiarton

Sleepless in Wiarton is not an unusual state these past months, as is not exhaustion, or knowing ones own name, but we manage to get through our days.

Today I did 3 loads of laundry, and seemingly fed and did dishes for 3 males all day long, among running around here and there.

Yesterday our Paul stood up as best man for his long time friend, Blake.

He cleans up very nicely, my boy does.

Aiden volunteered his services, last time he was visiting, to Kirsten of Kones, downtown Wiarton.  Today I dropped him off for a shift.

After 3 ice creams and working for a couple of hours, Aiden was still all smiles.  He goes back on Wednesday after day camp.

Connor went shopping with me, and I might add he is as good as Paul was at that age to take along shopping.  Start them young for the shop training !

I still have to get Connor out of the bath, and I can barely keep my eyes open, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

Too Lazy?

Really I think I am not too lazy but noted tired and overwhelmed then anything to blog tonight.

So this is it. Please don't give up on me as I pray and hope my steam of energy returns one day,  Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

A Long But Good Day

Yes today had been a long but good day.  I never slept a wink, but hope \I do tonight.  Paul and I headed to Timmie's very early to have the vehicle ahead of us pay for our order !!!  what a great way to start our day with someone paying it forward .... gotta love it.

Do you pay it forward in some way to a stranger(s).  I am pretty certain I do whenever possible.  The last that comes to mind was when I helped a lady get in her vehicle, she had thought I had been a medical worker, which I replied to that I was just a homemaker ... homemakers are pretty special people, don`t you know?  I had made her day and that is what counted.

Make someone else's day today !!!

I spent the day with my sister, Donna.  I even took her little Taz, weiner doggie, for a walk throught Woodland Cemetery.  At 4 pm I headed back to Paul & Liz's where I had a shower and we had some dinner.

I am so exhausted I can barely see, never mind type.  On that note I am going to call it a day here, South of the Checkerboard in New Hamburg.

Thursday 6 August 2015

A Busy Day Away

Another sleepless night engulfed me, but did not hold me back from heading South to see my grandchildren ....

Not long after arriving we headed out to Costco so I could load up on Dog Food.  While we were headed out and about, Rob had been home finishing up the new whelping pen for our Portia.

The "Gang" saying "hello" to Poppa via text message.  Portia not to happy at all in her new pen, photo sent to me via text message from Rob.  Love text photos !

Aiden had not wanted to go shopping, or go to Costco, however while Chloe, Connor & Briar had been up getting samples, Aiden was enjoying one himself inside my shopping cart, all happy as can be as you can see....

Next stop had been the Value Village, well really 2 different ones in Kitchener, where we scored BIG with 50% off on all Summer attire !!!  the kids got mega shorts, tops and more for $30.00, while I got 3 pair of capris (name brannd) and 2 new tops for $22.00.  Couldn't beat the deals we had got ourselves this day.

The boys we had dropped back off to their Mother, after we had all dined at McDonald's, then the rest of us made our way back home to New Hamburg.

Before heading home, we stopped across the street from Castle Kilbride in Baden to have ourselves a Shaw's Ice Cream Cone.  Music at the Castle in the summer months.

Sigh... can I say "tired"? I sure can.  Tomorrow I am off to spend the day with my sister, Donna, in Kitchener.

I hope to find myself sleeping shortly, South of the Checkerboard in New Hamburg.

Wednesday 5 August 2015

One Thing Done

The one thing done today was my bathroom cleaned.  The WHOLE bathroom.  It almost killed me but I did it.  I also managed to go downtown with Rob late this afternoon on a couple of errands which had to be done.

Susan, as always, it was nice to see you downtown today.

I had a cat nap if that is what I would call the laydown I had this afternoon.  I pray sleep comes quickly to stay with me all through the night for a change.

I am still feeling not well, and yes I do feel like a Mack Truck has rolled across my body a few times over.  On that note I shall call it a night by heading off to my bed (which was made today), Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

Down For The Count

Yes it has finally caught up with me and I am now down for the count.  My throat is burning and raw, my glands are swollen, and my head is ready to explode with a runny stuffy nose to boot.

I am sick, and nothing at the moment is taking that from me.  And
sleep? whatever might that be she asks.

This is all she wrote this day, but not all she has done this day, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

Whirlwind(s)

Our whirlwind of children have left the building, but not first until they had visited Great-Grandma.

What a happy bunch, are they all not?

Not only were our children a whirlwind passing through, so had the weather been, and still is.\

Heavy rains, hail and threats of tornadoes all day.  The rains are still coming down steady.

Vicki & I had gone up to the Market at the Handcraft House up Hwy. 6 today.  Nothing too adventurous but to put some time in and nose around.  This evening we all went out to the new Asian Buffet in Owen Sound, which had previously been the King's Buffet.  I have to admit it had been quite good

After all the whirlwinds this past weekend had brought, both Rob and I are all in but for our shirttails, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.

Spent

All my teaspoons of energy have been over spent.  It has been a busy day but still nice to have the kids here, all seven of them, and our BFF, Doug & Vicki.

Vicki & I hit the roads this morning to do some Garage Saling.  Prior to that I had been awake from midnight, and out for a walk with Buddy at 5 am.  Yes I am tired .... but here are a couple of photos:

More Photographs to follow tomorrow, as this girl is heading to bed soon, Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard.
